Legionella Services for Regulated Activities meeting the requirements of the ACOP L8, HSG 274 and the Department of Health's HTM 04-01.
Minimising the risk from Legionella bacteria is a requirement of Health and Safety law and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) Registration Regulations. Specifically under Regulation 12 "Safe Care and Treatment", Regulation 15 "Premises and Equipment" and Regulation 17 "Good Governance".
As a regulated activity you must not only meet the requirements of the HSE's ACOP L8 but also the Department of Health's HTM 04-01 which is referenced in the ACOP L8 and requires much higher standards of design, plumbing, maintenance, inspection and control measures. These requirements include the use of WaterSafe registered engineers.
At Water Wise Compliance we are approved by Trading Standards and certified by Trust Mark as meeting government endorsed quality standards, Water Safe registered, members of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) and recognised as Approved Contractors under the Water Regulations.
