Online CPD Accredited Legionella Awareness Training Courses.  Covering the HSE's ACOP L8, HSG 274 and Dept of Health's HTM 04-01.

The ACOP L8 requires that Duty Holders, those in control of premises and whoever carries out the required control and prevention measures are "competent" and have regular training.

Our CPD accredited online courses are designed to help you understand the requirements of the ACOP L8, HSG 274 and HTM 04-01 and implement the required measures.  All of our courses have been written by technical team whose skills, technical knowledge and qualifications are recognised by Trust Mark, Trading Standards, Water Safe, The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering and Constructionline.

Each course involves working through a series of modules and multiple choice questions which will allow you to demonstrate your understanding of the course.  You have a maximum of 5 attempts at each test with a minimum pass score of 70%.  On successful completion of the course we will send you a course certificate.

Legionella Risk Assessment

The HSE's ACOP L8 requires that anyone involved in assessing the risk from Legionella bacteria needs to competent to do so.  This course is suitable for anyone looking to learn how to carry out a Legionella Risk Assessment or wanting to refresh their knowledge.

In the course we look at the principles needed to assess the risk from cooling, cold and hot water systems.  We also look at relevent guidance and legislation, types of outlets, assessing and resolving scalding risks, thermostatic mixing valves and Legionella testing.
