Onsite & Remote Water Temperature Monitoring.  Ensuring compliance with the HSE's ACOP L8 and the Department of Health's HTM 04-01.

The temperature monitoring of hot & cold-water systems is a basic requirement of the HSE's ACOP L8 and the Department of Health's HTM 04-01.  It is also the most cost effective measure to control and prevent Legionella bacteria.

Not all hot and cold-water systems require regular monthly temperature monitoring.  Where and how often the temperature monitoring is required depends on the type of site, the systems in place and who may be affected.

Our temperature monitoring service uses a mixture of remote and onsite monitoring.  Our service team includes plumbing professionals who are Water Safe registered, CIPHE members and are specifically trained in the commissioning and monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.  All water temperatures should be record in a logbook.

Remote Temperature Monitoring

Remote monitoring allows for a high level of monitoring with water temperatures being taken and recorded multiple times a day.

Onsite Temperature Monitoring

Onsite monitoring allows for irregular tasks to be carried out as well as manual checks on hot and cold-water temperatures.

Monitoring for Healthcare Sites

The requirements for monitoring healthcare sites are different to monitoring other types of sites and requires specialist knowledge.
