The temperature monitoring of hot & cold-water systems is a basic requirement of the HSE's ACOP L8 and HTM 04-01. It is also the most cost effective measure to control and prevent Legionella bacteria.
Not all hot and cold-water systems require regular temperature monitoring. Where and how often temperature monitoring is required depends on the type of site, the systems in place and who may be affected.
Our temperature monitoring service uses a mixture of remote and onsite temperature monitoring. Our service team includes plumbing professionals who are Water Safe registered, members of the CIPHE and are specifically trained in the commissioning and monitoring of hot and cold-water systems. Water temperatures are then record in a logbook.
